Lets Talk Psychiatry - Common Questions Asked

Common Questions

  • We want to assure you that you can use our mental health practice for as long as necessary. We understand that everyone's mental health journey is unique and there is no set timeline for how long it takes to address and manage mental health concerns.

Our goal is to be your partner in your mental health journey and provide support and guidance throughout the process. It's common to start with more frequent appointments and then gradually decrease the frequency of touchpoints over time as you make progress. However, the decision to reduce the frequency of your appointments or to end treatment altogether is entirely up to you and based on your individual needs.

Please know that our mental health practice is committed to providing ongoing support to help you maintain your mental health and wellbeing. Whether it's regular appointments or occasional check-ins, we will work with you to ensure that you have the support you need, for as long as you need it.

Thank you for trusting us with your mental health.

  • Thank you for your question. We understand that choosing a mental health practice can be a difficult decision and it's important to find one that aligns with your wants and desires. Ultimately, it's up to you to make an informed decision about whether our mental health practice is the right fit for you.

We believe that the therapeutic relationship is a vital aspect of successful mental health treatment, and we want you to feel comfortable and supported during your time with us. If you feel that our mental health practice is not meeting your needs, we completely support your decision to seek another practice that better aligns with your goals and preferences.

We want to assure you that we are committed to providing the highest level of care and support to all of our clients. We strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate environment where you can feel free to share your thoughts and feelings.

If you have any concerns or questions about our mental health practice, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are here to help you make the best decision for your mental health and well-being. Thank you for considering our practice as a potential option, and we wish you the best in your mental health journey.

  • Thank you for your question. While in-person appointments are available, we want you to know that the vast majority of our patients choose to join us via our telehealth option. Telehealth allows you to attend therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home or wherever is most convenient for you. It is a great way to receive mental health support without the need to travel to our office.

Our telehealth option is available to anyone who lives in the state of Florida, and it is easy to use. All you need is a computer or smartphone with a camera and microphone and an internet connection. We use a secure platform to ensure that your telehealth sessions are confidential and private.

In addition, all our patients have access to a personalized portal, which contains a wealth of information to help you stay informed and empowered about your mental health. You can use this portal to view your appointment schedule, cancel or reschedule appointments, and even access resources to support your mental health in between sessions.

Of course, if you prefer to have in-person appointments, that is also an option. We have a comfortable and welcoming office where you can meet with one of our mental health professionals.

Ultimately, the decision to attend therapy in-person or via telehealth is up to you. We want to ensure that you have access to the care and support you need, in a way that is most convenient and comfortable for you. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns, and we will be happy to assist you.

  • We understand that navigating insurance coverage for mental health services can be confusing, but we want to assure you that we accept most major insurance companies. If you have a specific insurance provider in mind, we encourage you to contact our office and speak with a member of our team who can confirm whether we are in-network with your plan.

In the event that we are not in-network with your insurance provider, we offer flexible payment options, including payment plans and self-pay options. Our payment plans are designed to help you manage the cost of mental health services over time, and our self-pay option allows you to pay for services out of pocket without insurance.

We believe that everyone should have access to the mental health care they need, regardless of their insurance coverage or financial situation. We will work with you to find a payment option that works best for you and your individual needs.

Please don't hesitate to contact us with any additional questions or concerns about insurance coverage or payment options. We are here to support you and ensure that you have access to the mental health care you need.
